Well, it took some doing, but we finally have a working Internet connection at my grandmother's house!

Actually, we've had it for three (or maybe four? Five?) days now, and I just wanted to make sure it was stable. The technician said that he didn't think that it was possible to get DSL "out here" where we live, so he was kinda surprised. He sure was friendly, though, and went the extra mile to help when I tried to set up our wireless router, which I had bought beforehand. He needs a raise.
The connection was promised to be 1.5 MBps, but the most I've actually gotten is about 120 KBps. Still, I think I'm lucky we have a connection at all.
I start my Sophomore year at the college on August 18th, so we got the connection just in time; I'll need it to check what books I need, manage online classes, etc. In fact, that's the main reason my grandmother agreed to getting DSL; other activities are just gravy.
Anyway, I haven't been drawing much lately, which is just as well, because my scanner is still at my uncle Billy's house. I
could take photographs, but the quality would suck because of lighting and angle issues that I can never seem to avoid.
One last thing: does anyone else have a DS Pokemon game? I'm itching for a battle with a fellow DevART member. Drop me your friend code and a meeting time if interested. (My friend code is on my Trainer Card deviation: read the comment, as the Friend Code on the card itself is now gone.
Cheers!
